FRAS 5 is a complete portable laboratory for measuring the redox balance in blood and the antioxidant power in saliva. It consists of a centrifuge for extracting plasma from blood, a photometer for performing the tests, a touch screen display and a printer for returning the results on a receipt. FRAS Bravo is a dedicated photometer for monitoring oxidative stress. Small and handy, with an intuitive touchscreen, it allows rapid measurement of the redox balance.

In less than 10 minutes, the redox balance in the blood can be determined using the d-ROMs FAST (prooxidant power) and PAT (antioxidant power). A single capillary blood sample, by acupuncture, is sufficient to perform both tests. FRAS 5 and FRAS BRAVO are also able to calculate the oxidative stress index (OSI) in real time.
